Once again, this is today's life story:
My mom once asked me, "Why did I join Red Cross when my previous CCAs were Wushu and AV?"
My answer was simple.
"Mummy, I want people to respect me."
WHY? I think you all should know by now. *look at the previous post*
And that was when I was in Secondary One.
Now, in Secondary Three, I need things to do with RC to fuel my passion for life.
I'm already confident that RC withh be in my life till I retire.
Why? Cuz it's already not just a CCA to me.
Yep, you're right, today I'm talking about the point of CCAs being held.
It's not only about the points.
Sure, the points can get you into your dream schools.
Sure, you can show off your points to others in your institutions.
But what about the experience?
Have you ever experienced practicing till midnight just towin a single trophy?
Have you experienced the emotions running all over when you got second instead of first?
Have you ever experienced getting shouted at until you nearly cried?
Have you ever been bored to tears listening to briefings?
Have you ever been busy until your holiday becomes hell?
Have you ever shouted until your voice turns hoarse?
Have you ever found happiness in your CCA?

That's why I joined UIP to become a FOOTDRILL INSTRUCTOR.

That's why I chose to be in RCYC.
That's why I chose to be in the YOG first-aider team.
I want people to respect Sebastian for who he is.
I want people to know that Sebastian's no longer as useless as he was in primary school.

Day One
I reached Kembangan MRT at about..7?!
Early, I know. Then I ATTEMPTED to wait for CY and Aisyah.
But then..Day One Committee. So went to campsite first.
Saw Epic A1 - Cheryl, Nur Aisyah, Bernice, Iskandar there(:
Not to mention I met Wei Li on the way there(:
Then we had an AWESOME time packing the lanyards and tags for the people(:
Our flag was horrendously big. D:
Actually that's all for day one. Haha(:
Then Shwu Yueh Ma'am scolded us.

We started off..weirdly.

Then to the Singapore Botanic Gardens (I think)..

Sigh. I hate ponchos.
After that there were briefings for Exercises Neutrality and Voluntary Service.
Damn hard to do siah. For both.
After that was area cleaning, and then debrief.
Debrief was..memorable (:

Now it's time to say the touching stuff.
I still can hear Hadi Sir saying the word "Ohana" in my heart.
Ohana, that spcial word, means family.
Why Ohana? Because we are all one big family.
Be it A1, be it Alpha, be it ULP or even my batchmates..
We are all one family.
And for Alpha, I say,

Shwu Yueh Ma'am turned out to be a perfectly nice person.
Although she's out PWO and can be halilah-ish..
She's an extremely nice VI (:
And she said many many things that we..well..learnt through the past few days..

Although she may not frequent us much..
She still managed to let us reflect and even touch the hearts of some coursemates.
